At Renal Care Consultants, we deliver quality care by providing you with caring, professional staff dedicated to your overall well-being.  
 

Renal Care Consultants has taken the lead in kidney care. We have incorporated many new changes in order to improve the patient experience. The Kidney Center, our newest facility, is planned to open in June, 2009. This state-of-the-art center includes a dialysis clinic, a CKD clinic, and a research department.  Services of a dietician and social worker are also available.

 
Many of our rural community patients find the commute to our Johnstown facility difficult. With this in mind, we provide both CKD care and dialysis treatments in the communities of Ebensburg, Meyersdale and Somerset. CKD care alone is also available in Alum Bank and Windber.

 

Dr. George J. Frem

CEO & Medical Director

Dr. George J. Frem, the CEO and Medical Director, was born in Lebanon.  He moved to the United States in 1978, where he completed fellowships in kidney disease and hypertension at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hopsital in Boston in 1986. He holds several degrees in medicine and speaks three languages.

 

 

 

Jennifer Fetterman

Physician Assistant

Jennifer Fetterman, PA-C, is a graduate of St. Francis University, and has practiced as a physician assistant for eleven years.  She is also a graduate of the Conemaugh Hospital School of Nursing and earned a BSN in Nursing from The University of Pittsburgh. Prior to becoming a P.A., Jennifer practiced as a registered nurse in emergency medicine for six years.
